DataBox has got integrated messaging feature, using which messages can be sent for individuals and groups, apart from this, support has also been provided for SMS history and templates.

Data Management

Data management using spreadsheet is the concept that drives DataBox. The data set includes student data, staff data, examination and attendance.

As Google spreadsheets acts as the database, the user could customise the application according to the needs of the institution. Support has also been provided for different academic years and the format of the data across academic years could also be altered according to the requirements.

Parent's Portal

Parent's could log in to DataBox using their mobile number listed with the school, and they would have access to the profile(s) of their children. Initially, upon request a pin number will be sent to their mobile through SMS, and henceforth the parent could login using their mobile number as username and the pin number sent previously as the password.

This would lessen the burden of managing the user name and password of individual students, simultaneously making password recovery surprisingly simple.
